2.Dec 7, 2011 - UVS Tech wins Grand Prize at Eureka Competition
Douglas Kirk, Founder of UVS Tech, announced today that his company has won the Grand Prize in Lehigh University’s Eureka Competition. Every year, the Eureka Series of Student Competitions seeks proposals with the potential to leave a positive impact through the pursuit of innovative thinking and sustainable business models on Lehigh University, the City of Bethlehem, the Lehigh Valley, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States of America, and the world.
This series of competitions provides creative opportunities for student entrepreneurs to leave their footprint on their communities. Lehigh’s Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation can offer a variety of resources, ranging from mentoring and funding through early stage student venture creation, to help make these happen—assistance that comes in the form of competitions, boot camps, internships, coursework, facilities, and an impressive infrastructure.
